The photo featured with CadentWords’ April highlights is one of several similar photos taken by my daughter.
A spectacular sunset, she mentioned how it reminded her of some drawings I’ve created, and it instantly led me to Monet’s Song – a poem I wrote many years ago.
As always, a multitude of thoughts flooded my mind with endless possibilities as to how these photos could be applied to compliment, not only the poem, but to create an array of technical and hands-on opportunities from.
However, due to limited time and resources, I reined-in all those ideas and instead, I selected just one of the photos and kept it exactly as it was to highlight the opening of this month’s featured poem.
